A couple of notable changes/additions for the Winter 2020 season include:

Mite Transition Program: We will afford our second year 8U players (2011 Birth Years Only) with an opportunity to play within our 10U Metro Program. The goal of this program is to prepare our rising 8U players for full ice hockey. To do this, we will place these players on 10U Metro teams for the Winter 2020 season. These players will be able to practice with their 10U team on Monday nights and then play in 10U games on Saturday mornings when scheduled.

Maximum Enrollment: Across each of our age divisions, we will be enforcing a maximum player limit. The reasoning behind limiting the number of players within each age division is to maintain appropriate roster size and facilitate better practices. That said, there are a limited number of spots available for each age division for the Winter 2020 season.

Winter 2020 10U Format: In addition to the note above, we anticipate that we will add two more teams at the 10U age division. To accommodate projected league growth and develop players appropriately, we plan to adjust our practice and game formats. If we indeed get enough players to field six 10U teams, we will have three teams on the ice for practices and rotate between half-ice and full-ice games for game days. We will provide more information about these changes should they need to take effect.
